Experienced Plumbing Technician / Helper

Working alongside a licensed plumber on residential and commercial jobs across the GTA — drain and sewer work, fixture installs, camera inspections and service calls in homes and apartment buildings. This is an independent contractor position.

How It Works
Independent Contractor

You work with Ankor as a self-employed contractor — this is a real role for someone who already knows the trade, not a training-from-scratch position.

Your Pay
Grows With You

Your percentage increases based on your years of experience and your years working with Ankor — the longer and better you work with us, the more you earn.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Handling residential and building service calls — drains, fixtures, water heaters, leaks
  • Running sewer camera inspections and drain clearing
  • Working independently on straightforward repairs, and alongside the owner on bigger jobs
  • Keeping the work van and job sites clean and organized
  • Reading basic plumbing layouts and shut-off locations on your own

What We’re Looking For

  • Real, hands-on plumbing experience — comfortable doing repairs like replacing a toilet flange on your own, without being walked through it
  • Reliable and honest — this is a long-term relationship, not a short gig
  • Comfortable with physical work — lifting, crawl spaces, basements
  • Valid driver’s licence and your own basic tools are an asset
  • Legally able to work in Canada, and able to work as a self-employed independent contractor
