How does ozone remove odours?
Ozone (O3) is an unstable form of oxygen. Our generator, fed by an oxygen concentrator, fills the sealed space with it; the ozone oxidizes the molecules that cause the smell — in the air, in fabrics, in drywall and in flooring — and then breaks back down into ordinary oxygen. Nothing is masked and nothing is left behind.
How long does ozone treatment take?
Most apartments and houses — smoke, pets, cooking, a tenant who smoked for years — are done within 24 hours including ventilation. Severe cases such as fire smoke or decomposition odour can take up to 3 days of treatment.
Is ozone treatment safe?
Yes, when it is done by someone who knows the equipment. The space must be empty — no people, pets or plants — for the whole treatment, it is sealed and posted, and afterwards we ventilate it and check the air before anyone goes back in. You should not run a rented ozone machine in an occupied home.
What smells can ozone remove?
Cigarette and cannabis smoke, pet odour and urine, cooking and grease, mould and mildew smell, sewage backup odour, smoke after a small fire, and decomposition odour. It works on the whole room at once — walls, floors, ceilings, closets and ductwork — not just the air.
Does ozone work on cigarette smoke in an apartment?
Yes — it is the most common job we do it for. Years of smoking soak into paint, drywall and carpet; painting over it only holds the smell back for a few months. Ozone oxidizes the residue in the materials themselves. Done before the new paint, it is the difference between a turnover that smells new and one that gets a complaint in the first warm week.
What does ozone odour removal cost?
A fixed price per unit, quoted upfront after a quick look at the space and the source of the smell. For landlords and property managers it is usually bundled with the turnover or renovation we are already doing, which keeps the cost down because the unit is already empty. Request a quote.
Do you offer emergency plumbing service?
Yes — we take urgent calls for burst pipes, sewer backups and active leaks. Most calls in the GTA are answered same-day; call (437) 559-9778 directly for the fastest response.
What areas do you serve?
We work across the Greater Toronto Area, including Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, King City and Aurora. See our full service area for details.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — all of our plumbers are fully licensed and insured, and we carry WSIB coverage with a Certificate of Insurance available on request for property managers and commercial clients.
How much does a service call cost?
Our standard service call is $170 + tax, which covers travel and the first hour of labour. Additional hours are billed at $120 + tax. Larger jobs — renovations, installs, backwater valves, sump pumps — are quoted as a fixed price upfront, and that estimate is free. Inspections — camera work, leak detection, pre-purchase reports — are billed at the rates above, because the result is the findings and the footage rather than a quote. If you go ahead with the repair, the inspection fee comes off your invoice. See our full pricing.
Do you work with property managers and commercial buildings?
Yes — we currently maintain 10+ residential buildings across the GTA, handling everything from emergency callouts to scheduled maintenance, turnovers and drain work. Buildings on a service agreement are billed $120/hr from arrival with no service-call fee and get 24/7 callout. See our property management and commercial plumbing services.
